\/><\/a><br \/>\nAnd, above, the blade after using a ScotchBrite\u2122 abrasive pad to remove the dark oxide left from the vinegar soak. \u00a0Nice and shiny steel. \u00a0Note the texture left by the etching action of the vinegar on the cutting part of the blade (the top section of the image). \u00a0I rather like this, so I think I will leave the steel this way instead of using increasingly fine grits of sandpaper to smooth and polish the surface.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/sterlingsculptures.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/Ants_Miseretto_30.jpg\"><img
