within the lines, and keep the floor as flat as I can.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sterlingsculptures.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Spyderco_Cricket_Puget_Sound_Knife_5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Spyderco_Cricket_Puget_Sound_Knife_5\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sterlingsculptures.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Spyderco_Cricket_Puget_Sound_Knife_5.jpg?resize=576%2C382\" width=\"576\" height=\"382\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a>Next, I stippled the background areas with a tiny, sharp pointed punch. \u00a0This particular punch I&#8217;ve ground with four flat surfaces coming together at a point  , so the mark it leaves is a tiny inverted pyramid in the metal. \u00a0This leaves a matte background that will accept and hold ink really well. \u00a0It also doesn&#8217;t look bad all by itself&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Spyderco_Cricket_Puget_Sound_Knife_8\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/sterlingsculptures.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Spyderco_Cricket_Puget_Sound_Knife_8.jpg?resize=576%2C331\" width=\"576\" height=\"331\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><br \/>\nAnd here is the finished version, shown both inked and uninked. \u00a0I&#8217;ll have this little Spyderco for sale\u00a0at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattleknifeshow.com\/\">1st Annual Seattle International Knife Show<\/a>,\u00a0April 26th and 27th (2014) where I\u2019m excited to say I\u2019ve been invited to exhibit. \u00a0Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for Looking!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is just a simple little engraved Spyderco Cricket folding pocket knife. \u00a0These stainless steel Spydercos are very nice quality knives that engrave well, and it&#8217;s fun to\u00a0occasionally\u00a0work on one.
